At the start of each school year, we put great importance on creating a safe and secure group environment. This is important for children who are new to preschool, new to a group, or returning after a long summer break.
About us – Pysslingen Vårängen Preschool in Flemingsberg
Vårängen Preschool is a small preschool with four groups, located in Flemingsberg, close to Huddinge Hospital and Södertörn University. The preschool has a small playground with a cozy forest area, connected to a larger natural environment. We also have our own chef, who cooks healthy and nutritious food from scratch every day.
At Vårängen Preschool, we work with an intercultural profile. This means we value and use the children’s different languages, cultures, and experiences in everyday activities. For us, diversity is a strength that enriches learning for everyone.

Language and communication
A safe environment together with language development is one of the most important foundations for children’s learning, play, and curiosity. In our intercultural work, we see the children’s different languages as a resource and use them in learning whenever possible.

We work closely with parents and guardians to understand each child’s background and needs. When possible, we use the children’s mother tongues in everyday activities and encourage language development in all languages.
